85% of the Gasoline in your Tank is Wasted

Apparently only 15% of the fuel you put in your gas tank does anything. The rest is wasted due to inefficiencies. Inefficiencies include Idling (17.2%), Engine Losses (62.4%), Driveline (5.6%), Aerodynamic Drag and more. Yipes!
Yet another reason we need to stop cutting R&D on fuel economy and we should Eco-drive in the meantime.
